Belek has no boat harbour - the honest answer
If you are walking the Belek beach strip looking for a jetty with painted galleons tied up to it, you will not find one. Belek grew as a golf and beach resort behind its pine woods: large hotel complexes, a long stretch of sand, and no passenger harbour in our records. That is why every honest answer to this question has to name a harbour somewhere else.
For our pirate galleon day, that harbour is Side Harbour. You are collected from your hotel in Belek in the morning and driven to Side, where you board the Alibaba galleon. The boat then cruises the Side coastline for about six to seven hours before you are driven back to your hotel in the afternoon.
We would much rather you read that here than discover it on the morning of the trip. Nothing about it changes the price or the length of your day - the drive is built into the itinerary and into the fare.
The transfer to Side Harbour is included, not an extra
This is the part guests worry about, so let us be blunt: you do not pay for the ride. Round-trip hotel transfer from Belek and nearby resorts is one of the inclusions on the pirate boat day, sitting alongside the cruise itself, the barbecue lunch served on board, the foam party and pirate animation, and local travel insurance.
The price you see is the price of the whole day, door to door: €25 per adult aged 12-99, €12.50 per child aged 4-11 - exactly half the adult fare - and infants aged 0-3 travel free. Nothing is prepaid and no card is taken online. You settle in euros on the day of the tour, and if plans change you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure.
- Round-trip hotel transfer from Belek and nearby resorts
- Full-day cruise on the Alibaba pirate boat with crew
- Barbecue lunch served on board
- Foam party, music and pirate animation
- Local travel insurance
How the hotel pickup actually works
Your boat day starts at your hotel, not at a quay. The transfer works a route that collects guests from several hotels along the Belek strip before heading for the harbour, and brings you back the same way in the afternoon.
Because of that route, your collection time is not a fixed number we can publish on a web page. A hotel at the start of the run is collected earlier than one at the end, and the order can shift with the day's bookings. Your time is confirmed after you book and reconfirmed the day before, so you go to bed knowing exactly when to be downstairs.
That is also why you will not find a departure clock time anywhere on this site. Any number we printed would be wrong for most readers, and a guest standing in a lobby at the wrong hour is a guest who misses the boat.
- Pickup is from your hotel in Belek or Kadriye and back again, at no extra cost
- Your exact time is confirmed after booking, then reconfirmed the day before
- Times vary with where your hotel sits in the collection route
- Several hotels share the same run, so the order is not the same every day
- Keep your phone reachable so the day-before confirmation actually reaches you
The Green Canyon day does not go to a harbour at all
Our second boat day leaves the coast behind entirely. After pickup from your Belek hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, the drive heads inland to the Oymapınar reservoir near Manavgat, and the cruise starts there - on fresh water, not the Mediterranean.
Green Canyon is the deep-green lake held back by the Oymapınar Dam, hemmed in by pine-clad cliffs that drop straight into the water. It is calm, noticeably cooler than the sea, and a completely different day out from the galleon: roughly eight hours door to door, €42 per adult and €25 per child aged 4-11, with infants aged 0-3 free. The same driver brings you home.
If you are choosing between the two, that geography is the real decision rather than the price. Salt water, a foam party and a coastline on one side; still green water between cliffs on the other.
The Manavgat day boards on a river
The third option pairs the Manavgat open-air market with a cruise on the Manavgat River aboard a traditional wooden riverboat. Again there is no sea harbour involved: an air-conditioned transfer takes you from your Belek hotel to Manavgat and back, with a licensed English-speaking guide for the whole day.
The river is calm, reed-lined and green, and lunch is served riverside. The day runs about seven hours, at €43 per adult and €30 per child aged 4-11, with infants aged 0-3 free. One point worth repeating: the market runs on Mondays and Thursdays, so Monday and Thursday are the only two days this trip leaves at all.
Which areas we can actually collect you from
Belek and Kadriye are the two names we are willing to put in writing. If your hotel sits on the Belek strip or in Kadriye Mevkii, the included transfer covers you and there is nothing further to arrange.
Outside that belt - Boğazkent, Serik, the outer edges of Kadriye - we answer case by case rather than publishing a promise we might not be able to keep. Send us your hotel name on WhatsApp and you will get a straight yes or no before you book, instead of a shrug on the morning. We would rather lose a booking than strand someone in a lobby.
For the same reason you will not find a list of hotels we serve on this site. The booking form takes your hotel name as free text, so write it exactly as it appears on your reservation - if there is a problem with the address, we come back to you about it rather than leaving it to the driver.
Before the morning: a short practical checklist
Book at least a day ahead. Same-day reservations are not accepted, so the earliest date you can choose is tomorrow. A single booking can carry up to 40 people, which is usually enough for a family group or for two families travelling together.
Have your hotel name ready when you book, stay reachable for the day-before confirmation, and be downstairs a few minutes before the time you are given. For the galleon day pack swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a hat, and wear non-slip footwear for moving around the deck. Payment happens on the tour, in euros - there is nothing to settle in advance and no card details to hand over online.
