Where the pirate boat is moored, and why that is not Belek

Belek has no boat harbour of its own in our records, so the morning starts with a vehicle at your hotel in Belek or Kadriye and a road transfer to the harbour, and the ship then cruises the Side coastline. That transfer runs in both directions and sits inside the fare rather than being collected at the quay, which is why a Belek pirate boat and a Side pirate boat are often describing the same deck.
What we cannot give you is a pickup time. The vehicle runs a route, the moment it reaches your hotel depends on where you sit along that route, and the time is confirmed the day before you travel rather than printed on a web page. Pickup covers Belek itself and the Kadriye hotel strip with confidence. If you are out towards Boğazkent or Serik, message us with the hotel name and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
The pirate theming: what actually happens on deck
Pirate animation is written into the programme and it is not a five-minute photo opportunity. It comes back more than once between the swimming stops, alongside the music, with games for the children on board, and it is the kind of entertainment pitched at a whole boat rather than at a booked audience. Nobody is made to take part, but it happens where you are sitting and not in a separate room, so opting out means ignoring it rather than avoiding it.
We publish no running order for any of it, and you will not find one anywhere on this site. The crew read the weather, the sea and the mood on board, and the animation, the swimming and the barbecue land where they land inside the day. Anyone who sells you a pirate show timed to the minute is describing a boat they have not been on either.

If the foam party is precisely the thing you are trying to avoid, do not book this boat hoping to hide from it for an hour. Swimming, the barbecue, and what the fare does not cover
The galleon anchors in coves along the Side coastline and you get into the sea straight off the deck. There are several swimming breaks across the day, and we deliberately do not publish how many there are or name the coves, because the captain chooses them on the day according to the sea. Between the stops the deck is yours: sunbathing areas, the rail, and the Belek and Antalya coastline going past.
Lunch is a barbecue grilled on board and it is included, along with the round-trip hotel transfer and local travel insurance. Drinks from the bar are not part of the fare, and neither are tips or the photo and video service, so bring some spending money even though the tour price itself is settled separately. We publish no menu and make no promise about particular diets: if someone in your party eats differently, message us before booking rather than hoping.
One more thing we will not oversell. Our record lists no snorkelling equipment carried on board, so we do not promise any — bring your own mask if that is how you like to swim. The same goes for water slides, banana boats and the other things a themed boat is assumed to have: if it is not in the list above, treat it as absent rather than as unmentioned.
Who this boat is genuinely for
Families are the clearest fit. The programme is built for a crowd with children in it, infants aged 0 to 3 travel free, and on this boat the child fare is exactly half the adult one, which is not something the other two days we run from Belek do. A family that would find a long quiet day of scenery a hard sell will get through this one without anyone asking how much longer it is.
Groups are the second fit, and the useful detail is that a single reservation can cover up to forty people. A big family, a group of friends who met at the hotel, a birthday that has grown: none of that has to be split across separate bookings, and everyone ends up on the same deck rather than on the same beach at different times.
And it is the fit for anyone who wants one big day out of a week rather than three modest ones. At €25 an adult it is also the cheapest day we run from Belek, which is why it is the one to look at first if you are only booking one trip, and why it is the one that survives the family budget conversation.
Who should not book it, said plainly
Guests with limited mobility. Our own notes on this tour say it is not ideal for guests with limited mobility, and we would rather repeat that here than let anyone discover it at the gangway. There is boarding at the harbour, there is a deck to move around on, and getting in and out of the sea happens over the side of the boat. We publish no access description because we do not have one you could safely rely on — ask us and we will describe the boarding honestly for your date.
Couples looking for a quiet day for two. The galleon is a shared boat with families, music and a foam party on it, and none of that is optional background you can switch off: it is the product. There are sunbathing areas where two people can settle away from the loudest corner, but the day is noisy by design, and a couple who books it hoping for calm has bought the wrong ticket. Our own notes also call it great for families, couples and groups, and the couples it suits are the sociable ones.
And anyone looking for a pirate boat that is not this one. How the day is shaped, and how you book it
Count on about six to seven hours on the boat inside a full day, with the morning collection and the afternoon drop-off at either end of it. The galleon goes out every day of the week, and the earliest date the calendar will offer you is tomorrow, because same-day reservations are not accepted anywhere on this site.
Booking is a free reservation. No card is taken online, nothing is prepaid, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, and since you have paid nothing there is no refund to chase afterwards. If the forecast for your date looks doubtful, message us and ask rather than guessing from an app.
