Boğazkent is on the morning round — as a matter of routine, not arrangement
Some pickups are promises a driver keeps when the day allows. This is not one of those. Belek, Kadriye, Boğazkent and Serik are the four areas we put in writing for the included round-trip hotel transfer, and the driver collects across all four as part of one ordinary morning round. A guest in Boğazkent does not need to request anything, confirm anything twice or pay anything extra: you book the boat day, and the pickup comes with it.
Included means included in both directions. The vehicle takes you from your hotel door in the morning and returns you to the same door in the afternoon, with nothing to settle with the driver and nothing added at the hotel desk. If a price you have been quoted elsewhere grows a transfer fee once you say the word Boğazkent, that price was not describing this tour.
And because the transfer is part of the product rather than a courtesy, it does not depend on how many other guests booked from your end of the coast that day. A quiet resort does not make you a special case; it makes you a stop on the route.
The quiet end of the shore — and why the booking form barely knows it
Boğazkent sits east of Belek along the same shore, at the end of the resort belt that looks toward Side and Manavgat. It is the calmer stretch — a smaller cluster of hotels rather than a wall of them — and people mostly choose it for exactly that quiet. None of which changes the boat day in any way: same galleon, same fare, same included transfer as a hotel in the middle of Belek.
Where the quiet does show up is in our booking form, and it is worth defusing before it confuses anyone. The hotel field takes free text, and the short suggestion list underneath it draws on a directory whose few listed properties are filed under the Belek strip — so a Boğazkent hotel will almost certainly not appear among the suggestions. That absence carries no meaning whatsoever. Type your hotel's name exactly as your reservation writes it, and the booking is as valid as any other.
We could paper over that by publishing a list of Boğazkent hotels we collect from, and we deliberately do not. A printed hotel list quietly becomes a promise the day one hotel renames itself, and a page that ages into a false promise is worse than a short honest sentence: the field is free text, and the belt is covered.
Your boat is at Side Harbour — the map leans your way, the route still decides
There is no boat harbour anywhere along this resort shore in our records — not in Belek, not in Kadriye, and not in Boğazkent. The excursion boats are moored at Side Harbour, so every galleon day from this coast begins with a drive, and that drive is inside the fare rather than an extra beside it. Once aboard, the Alibaba galleon — a pirate-themed ship with painted hull, sails and rigging — spends about six to seven hours along the Side coastline, with the swimming, the barbecue lunch and the foam party all happening out on the water.
A guest in Boğazkent will notice that their end of the belt is the end that faces Side, and it is tempting to build expectations on that. Resist the temptation, because the pickup is a route, not a taxi: the driver collects from hotels across all four areas in an order set by that day's bookings, and only then heads for the harbour. Where your hotel falls in the round decides your collection time — never whether you are collected — which is why no clock time appears on this page. You are told your time once the booking is confirmed, and told it again the day before you travel.
Early or late in the round, the day itself is identical: the same hours on the water, the same lunch, the same fare. The only sensible preparation is to be downstairs a few minutes ahead of the time you are given, with the phone you booked with switched on.
One flat fare across the belt — Boğazkent pays what Belek pays
The galleon day costs €25 per adult aged 12-99 and €12.50 per child aged 4-11, with infants aged 0-3 travelling free — from Boğazkent, from Belek, from anywhere on the round. There is no far-end supplement and no distance band, because the drive to Side Harbour and back was never a separate product to price.
The child fare is not a marketing figure that drifts on its own: children aged four to eleven pay half of whatever the adult fare is, so if one number ever moves, the other moves with it.
What sits outside the fare is short and worth knowing in advance: drinks from the on-board bar, tips for the crew and guide, the photo and video service, and your own spending. Nothing is prepaid and no card is taken online — you reserve a place, pay in euros on the day of the tour, and can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure.
Two of the three days head toward Manavgat — the direction your shore already faces
The galleon is one of three boat days we run, and all three collect from Boğazkent with the round-trip transfer included. The other two happen to head inland toward Manavgat — the same direction your end of the belt looks — though what your address changes is only the pickup time on the morning, and that is confirmed the day before whichever day you choose.
The Green Canyon day deserves a plain description, because its photographs are routinely mistaken for the sea: it is a freshwater reservoir held behind the Oymapınar Dam near Manavgat — a deep-green, calm, noticeably cooler lake between pine-clad cliffs, where you swim in fresh water rather than the Mediterranean. The day runs about eight hours door to door at €42 per adult and €25 per child aged 4-11, with infants free, and non-swimmers can simply stay comfortable on deck.
The third day skips swimming altogether: the Manavgat open-air market first, then the Manavgat River aboard a traditional wooden riverboat — flat, reed-lined water and a riverside lunch. It runs seven hours at €43 per adult and €30 per child aged 4-11, and it departs on Mondays and Thursdays only, because those are the market's days. If it is on your list, check your calendar before your taste.
What we will not promise a Boğazkent guest
No pickup time in print, first of all. The route is built from the day's bookings, so any time published on a page would be a guess dressed as a fact — you get the real one the day before, which is worth more.
No pretence of a wider map, either. The Belek–Kadriye–Boğazkent–Serik belt is routine; a hotel genuinely beyond it is a question we would rather answer than guess at. Send us the hotel name on WhatsApp before booking and you will get a straight yes or no.
And no trips we do not actually run from this coast. There is no private yacht charter here, no sunset cruise, no fishing boat, no diving day, and no Suluada departure from this shore — we sell Suluada from Side and from Antalya, not from here. Ask us for any of those and we will say so plainly rather than sell you the nearest available thing. One more plain sentence while we are at it: the galleon day suits families, couples and groups well, but it is not the right day for guests with limited mobility.
Booking it from Boğazkent, step by step
Book at least a day ahead — same-day reservations are not accepted, so the earliest date on the calendar is tomorrow, and that lead time is precisely what makes the evening-before pickup confirmation possible. One reservation can cover up to 40 people, so a large family or two families travelling together book once, not twice.
After that it is only packing and reachability: hotel name written the way your reservation writes it, the phone you booked with switched on, and a bag for a day on deck — swimwear, towel, sunscreen, a hat and non-slip footwear.
